White Star 31.2.0 - dbsoft - 08-02-2022 Download Intel Build SHA256: 540b99b1c3ca89199b846b53dbb2d070330b5195a203f6873e28cf95c90cb30a Download Apple Silicon (ARM64) Build SHA256: f73ea17319a91426760ae3c7104ce27816b6e2c13b78033292c7e42718e2eb5d Source Code GitHub: White-Star UXP Release Notes This is a major bugfix and development update. Some of the 31.2.0 updates were actually in the 31.1.1 White Star release, due to my use of the master branch instead of release, to support Apple Silicon. Legacy builds have been discontinued for now, since I am not sure there are any issues with the modern builds that are avoided by the legacy builds. If anyone still needs or wants them let me know and I'll bring them back. RE: White Star 31.2.0 - noobsoftware - 08-03-2022 When trying to run ARM version on macOS ventura it says "white star is damaged and should be moved to the bin". Sounds like the thing the person posted in the last version.... can you try the instructions they detailed? https://dbsoft.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=115&pid=545#pid545 RE: White Star 31.2.0 - noobsoftware - 08-03-2022 (08-03-2022, 08:18 PM)dbsoft Wrote:(08-03-2022, 02:42 PM)noobsoftware Wrote: When trying to run ARM version on macOS ventura it says "white star is damaged and should be moved to the bin". That did the trick, for reference: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/White\ Star.app But the window is still transparent for Ventura. RE: White Star 31.2.0 - KlarkKentThe3rd - 08-04-2022 Everything seems fine. The good news is that if it is a blank window in Ventura on Apple Silicon too then I'll probably be able to fix it when I upgrade to Ventura on my M1. Also something to try, start it up in safe mode...and if it starts up like that, try with hardware acceleration disabled: Preferences -> Advanced -> Use hardware acceleration when available. Code: /Applications/White\ Star.app/Contents/MacOS/whitestar -safe-mode RE: White Star 31.2.0 - SkyPilot - 08-04-2022 ARM version working fine with no issues. M1 Mac Mini running Monterey. RE: White Star 31.2.0 - dbsoft - 08-06-2022 Has anyone running Ventura been able to test it in Safe Mode and see if it functions? Just tried on my 2020 Intel iMac and no joy. Still the transparent window and unable to try Safe Mode as that window is transparent as well. To start in safe mode you open the Terminal.app and start it from the command line: Code: /Applications/White\ Star.app/Contents/MacOS/whitestar -safe-mode |
