White Star 29.3.0
#1
This build is no longer available for download.
Release Notes

The Pale Moon team surprised me by releasing 29.3.0 a day early, their official release day is Tuesday. I had set aside Monday and Tuesday from my schedule to cherry pick all the changes, test and release... I got the cherry picking done, but not the testing.  So I am releasing with minimal testing right now, will test tonight and tomorrow and if necessary release updated builds.

Also, if anyone wants to donate to any of my projects, I am trying out a Patreon site for it, since a few of my friends' projects have been using it, why not try?

Enjoy!

Did not expect you to deliver this quickly. This release does not fix the disappearing YT comments problem, though that is always on their end anyway.

P.S. Forgot, then changed my password. It is possible PureURL add-in prevented something needed from happening, and I did not get my email at first. Rr maybe it was a glitch in the system. Regardless, 2nd time was the charm.

Had a few people say they weren't getting the emails, the server the forum is running on has its own mail server which it is using, however it isn't a "trusted" server... so sometimes the outgoing mails get rejected. Not sure if that is what is happening, but I had to use my ISP server to ensure outgoing mail always made it out.  I guess I can see if I can configure the software to use my ISP mail server instead... just got so many things on my plate... that has been a low priority.

Just tell people to keep trying. That's an easy solution.

As promised a few weeks ago, here is an experimental 29.3.0 build with WebRTC, Gamepad and Firefox (Legacy) extension support re-enabled.

Download

I don't actually use any legacy Firefox extensions so I have not tested that, but the settings show up and support for WebRTC/Gamepad shows up in the tests.

Let me know if this works for you, or causes problems... or whatever.

Thanks,
Brian

Am I to understand the regular build seems perfectly fine to you?

I asked what people wanted, and WebRTC and the ability to continue running old Firefox extensions were the two main requests... the Gamepad support is my own thing, since I never understood why it was disabled in the first place.

I think WebRTC full support is to be added to PM eventually anyway.

Hopefully but currently their build instructions explicitly disables it, and the official White Star is currently following the Pale Moon instructions.
