White Star going forward...
#11
I think White Star isn't using the GPU on my Intel Big Sur nor on M1 Big Sur, although graphics run more smoothly on M1. I don't know how to verify this but it is in GPU% 0,0 and GPU Time 0,0. So that would be a nice fix as well.

If you go Tools -> Web Developer -> Error Console ... does it say anything like:

OpenGL compositor Initialized Succesfully.
Version: 2.1 NVIDIA-14.0.32 355.11.11.10.10.143
Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Renderer: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 OpenGL Engine
FBO Texture Target: TEXTURE_2D

I do not see that, i do see some warnings (from on of the sites i have visited) :

Warning: Error: WebGL : Failed to create WebGL context: WebGL creation failed:
*error during native OpenGL init.
*error during native OpenGL init.
Exhausted GL driver caps
exhausted gl driver options.

Ok I'll take a look at it when I get some time, I didn't even actually check the OpenGL on my M1 Mac... but the OpenGL fixes I did when I first got it working on Big Sur are still in there... I double checked just to make sure any recent changes didn't clobber them.

For me, it's simply maintaining Pale Moon/UXP support on OS X, and given what the PM team is actively doing to the codebase I feel like that's a big enough job already without considering any other additional features.

Oh, and the other major feature request would be a community without the toxicity of the old one... Smile
