But the window is still transparent for Ventura.

Interesting, I guess I need to figure out how to make it so that isn't necessary. 

The good news is that if it is a blank window in Ventura on Apple Silicon too then I'll probably be able to fix it when I upgrade to Ventura on my M1.

Also something to try, start it up in safe mode...and if it starts up like that, try with hardware acceleration disabled: Preferences -> Advanced -> Use hardware acceleration when available.
