Press Release March 16, 2011
A few years ago I started porting my Dynamic Windows library to the Mac using the Carbon framework. The basics were there but it never really got off the ground. Then Apple announced they were not going to be support Carbon going forward and everyone should convert over to their Cocoa Objective-C framework... effectively putting all the work I had done into the trash bin. A period of inactivity ensued. One month ago I came out of my hibernation energized and over the last month I wrote 8,000 lines of Cocoa Objective-C code and now Dynamic Windows lives on the Mac! All of my applications are currently functional... there are still some bugs to be worked out but it has been a very productive month.
